Libraries and Autism: Here an article written by a young man with Autism.

There are free outings that we can do with our kids, that can be done locally at our public library. Libraries are safe havens for most of us. Many offer programs for families that have children affected by autism or have other special needs challenges. The library staff is very helpful in recognizing the needs of this population. So, when you are looking for something for your children to participate after school check out the local library. Many of their events for children are free.
